It has been a long time since I’ve posted!  Since I find myself with some free time this afternoon, I thought that now may be a good time to update you on what’s been happening with me.  So big changes have taken place in the last few weeks!  I decided at the end of Spring that I was going to go back to school this Fall.  At the time I was still working at the Disneyland Resort and was planning on keeping that job part-time and leaving Allergan at the end of the summer.  Well, if you’ve read previous posts you know that didn’t work out as planned.  I immediately began a contingency plan to still work out a schedule for night classes, etc.  I enlisted Becky’s help to figure out how many classes I still had to take to get my GE certification to transfer – we figured out about 11.  As I continued to do the course mapping by myself I decided that it was ridiculous to stretch this out any longer than necessary!  I decided to leave Allergan at the end of the summer any way, without any sort of ‘safety net’ of a part-time job.  I asked if I could move back in at home and began re-planning my class schedule for full-time.

I am happy to report that I now sit at the Starbucks at the corner of Harbor and Chapman getting ready to head back for my 1 o’clock class!  I took the train to school this morning, that was fun!  Okay, I looked at the clock – I have to run!
