This was a little too funny not to share with everyone…

This morning I wasn’t quite late for work, but I was leaving just on time – that is to say no wiggle room.  Often times when I leave the house I will grab the shoes that I am going to wear for the day and put them on in the car en route or once I arrive.  Nothing out of the ordinary, I do that even when I’m not running late or with just enough time.  This morning as I was leaving I was carrying several things: my lunch, my bag and the book that I am reading.  I grabbed some shoes from the shoe basket by the side door tucked them under my arm and headed to the car.  I put my bag, my lunch and my book in the back seat and threw my shoes over the console to the passenger seat.  I pulled out of the My Two Shoesdriveway and got underway to work.  About halfway to the freeway I started to un-lace my shoes which were still laced up from last night when I wore them.  As I picked up the second shoe I realized that it was not the same as the first.  I have two pairs of shoes that are extremely similiar but not the same; in fact, I got the second pair as a replacement to the first.  So, there I was driving to work with only this one pair of shoes in the car and past the point of no return.  Now, I sit here wearing two different shoes…
