As Becky so eloquently put it nearly a month ago…

6 Feb? Whew, even that was now a while ago.

That was a while ago – so what is new with me? Well, recently of interest I purchased a laptop, so that may mean that I will begin to blog more, but no promises. It’s an Acer 3690, for those of you that care — it’s a Intel Celeron M 420, with 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive, which may not sound like the newest and greatest and it’s not, but my desktop at home is a Pentium III 500 Mhz – so trust me it’s an improvement and the best part – drum roll please – it was only $399.

What else is new?? I will be on the opening crew of Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage when it opens in June.  I guess that will make me a submariner.  I haven’t seen the new effects or show yet, but it promises to be as state-of-the-art as the Submarines were when they first dived in 1959.

Finally, I’ve started a new hobby – well, at least it may develop into a hobby – genealogy research.  I saw this ad in Time magazine for Ancestry.com, so I logged on.  It is incredibly easy to build a family tree on here and it automatically searches for historical records based on the information you provide.  I pretty sure you can look at the work I’ve done so far at the link above — you will have to search for Bayhi Family Tree; I don’t think there is a way to link to it directly.

Okay, that’s all for now – hopefully more blogging to come from the new laptop.
