So, it’s been a little while since I have blogged – just two days short of six months to be exact? Can I catch you up on six month’s of life in just one Tuesday evening post?? I don’t think so? Let me try some of the highlights…

August: For the most part, uneventful!

September: It was my birthday! Gifts are still being accepted and cash donations are always accepted in lieu of gifts? Other than that a pretty normal month – can I just take a moment to say that I can’t believe that I’m 26!

October: Margaret got married! What a fun wedding that was to go to! I’m pretty sure that we were the loudest table at the reception – it was great getting to know and spend some time with folks from work? In October I also decided to get a part-time job, so I rehired with the Walt Disney Company – gone for just over 18 months.  My penance for leaving: learning Autopia.

November: Pretty normal. Thanksgiving was nice; I was convinced that I would be working since I had rehired, but I had the day off and got to spend it with my family and that was nice.

December: Kind of crazy.  It was a little weird not working the Drive-Thru nativity at church, it was the first time in 15 years that I hadn’t been there every night or even helped set-up – I wasn’t missed; it was executed flawlessly as usual.  Working for Disney again made for some late nights and early mornings back at Allergan, but I made it through.  We launched a new product at Allergan, Juvederm – I was selected as the Customer Service lead on the project and that was kind of a nice break from being on the phones, but somewhat of a pain at the same time. All in all, we had a great team put together and we got the job done (albeit with a lot of overtime!).

January: Ah, winter is in full swing – well as much of a swing as it gets in Southern California. Winding down into the slow season for both Disneyland and at Allergan. Back down to just Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Disneyland. As for Allergan, now answering calls on all of our standard customer service queues – spend most of the month just on Platinum queue and dermal filler queue – that was a nice ease back into the calls – I was only taking about 80-90 calls a day. Last week of January back to the Botox doctor queue – took 179 calls in one day. One interesting fact: Had I not left Disneyland; 29 Jan 2007 would have marked my 7 year anniversery with the company – how weird! I still wear my five-year service pin.

February: Well that nearly brings us to today. Nothing much happening so far, other than some great news yesterday! I received a call from Disneyland scheduling to check my availability for training on Monorail – that’s right I get to go back to my train ride!! I am very excited and can’t wait to get back up there!

Ok, that’s all for now – it’s time to go to bed. So, dear readers your will is my command and thus ends an updated post – more to come – I won’t make promises on how often though. Oh and duly noted: Blair – two posts, 29 Jan.
