Oh, what a busy week it has been. It was of course Independence Day on Tuesday, so here in Huntington Beach that means Parade, Fireworks and BBQ. I was up early and over to Sharon’s house. Kurt and Becky joined us and then we all walked down to the parade route and walked down and then back up Main Street as the parade passed by. We returned to Sharon’s and finished prepping lunch; Blair, Christie & Sally came over and so did Charlie – we all enjoyed cheeseburgers, corn-on-the-cob, salad, deviled eggs and other sundry food items. After a rest and a movie (The American President – a great selection for the day), Blair, Christie, Sally, Sharon, Charlie and I all walked down to pier for the aerial pyrotechnics presentation.

On Wednesday night, my adopted sister/fellow former cast member, Beth, invited me over to the Olde Ship in Fullerton for libations, we were joined by Beth’s friend Stephanie and Aleah. It was fun to catch up and talk for a while – I don’t think Beth and I had seen each other for at least a year, maybe longer.

As most of you know I have started a new job. Thursday was my first day with Allergan in Irvine. I will be working in the Sales Support department as a Customer Service Rep. in their call center. Mostly, I will be taking orders for Botox from Physicians’ offices. I am very excited about this new job – training for the past two days has been going great and I am looking forward to working with, what looks like, a very dedicated and hard-working team. It’s back on Monday for three more days of training on policies, procedures and the all important SAP. I’ll be sure to keep everyone up on what’s going on on this front.

Thursday I went and saw “A Prarie Home Companion” with Brian and his friend Norbert. I thought that it was a good film, but if you don’t listen to the radio show on NPR it might not all make sense.? I would recommend renting it when it comes out on DVD.

On Friday it was Beth’s birthday, so a group of us went to celebrate at the Pirates’ Dinner Adventure in Buena Park. It’s Dinner and Show as the sign out front says. It was a good time, it’s like Medieval Times, but with Pirates. After that it was over to O’Hara’s pub in Orange to close the night out.

So it has been a busy, busy week. Tonight I am off to my Mom’s to see my cousin Cory who is here visiting from Massachusetts.
